The objectives of the Scandinavian Association of WA are:

  1. To promote the harmonious interrelationship between Scandinavia and Australia.
  2. To hold such functions as to maintain the traditions of Scandinavia, including the national days.
  3. To maintain a premises for the purpose of providing social and cultural activities for it's members.

Now it's time to come and give constructive ideas for what we can do for the members and what the members can do for the club.

St. Hans Bonfire 26th of June

Sankt Hans Bonfire will again be held at Lyn and Niels Dahl's place in Gidgegannup.
All members and non members are most welcome. Come and spend a lovely afternoon together with other Scandinavians. It's lots of people who attend and always get good reviews!!

National Day for Sweden, Denmark and Iceland

National day for Sweden, Denmark and Iceland – 5th June BBQ at the Nordic House. $20/person. The celebrations starts at 4pm.

Norwegian Sjømannsprest and Student priest coming to Perth 23rd June

Sunday 23rd May 3pm there will be a Service and afternoon tea at the Nordic house with the Norwegian Sjømann/student priest Aase Louise Lindberg.

All members and non members are most welcome.

Norwegian National Day 17th May at Stirling Gardens and Nordic House!!

ANSA Perth (Australian and New Zealand Student Association) welcomes all Norwegians, their friends and families to the celebration of Norway's Constitutional Day on the 17th of May.

This years program is as followed:

10:30 am: Everybody meets in Stirling Gardens, Perth CBD.

11:00 am: A small procession through the city (remember your Norwegian Flag!)

11:30 am: Back to Stirling Gardens

11:45 pm: Speeches and the singing of our National Anthem

12:15 pm: Coffee, cake, hot dogs and soft drinks + games for the children
