Message from the Norwegian priest in Sydney
Hei
St. Hans Bonfire!!
All Scandinavians are welcome to Lyn and Niels Dahl´s Place in 41 Hargreaves Crescent, Gidgegannup for St. Hans Celebrations. It starts from 2 pm Bring your own picnic or buy hot dogs and soft drinks at Hargreaves Crescent. The Norwegian priest in Sydney are coming and he would appreciate meeting many Norwegian families.
17th of May Celebrations
Norwegians in Perth woke up in beautiful sunny weather. Perfect for their national day. It all started at 11 am in Supreme court Gardens where ANSA, the Norwegian Student Organisation, organised a Parade through the City of Perth. After the parade all Norwegians ate "pølse og brød", cakes and soft drinks. Al together we were at least 150 Norwegians turning up. The Norwegian consul and a member of the ANSA committee held to beautiful written speeches about being Norwegian living Perth and how much we all are proud of being Norwegians on our National Day.
