The objectives of the Scandinavian Association of WA are:
- To promote the harmonious interrelationship between Scandinavia and Australia.
- To hold such functions as to maintain the traditions of Scandinavia, including the national days.
- To maintain a premises for the purpose of providing social and cultural activities for it's members.
We need a volunteer / organisers for this event to happen!!!

The lunch is a good opportunity to start new friendships and also meet Scandinavians living i Perth and surroundings who have lived in WA for a long time.

The annual Christmas Party and Lucia Parade will be held at the Latvian Community Centre, Belmont, on Sunday 5th December commencing at 4.30pm.
We welcome members and non members for this great event. Children are going to experience a Christmas tree they never forget, hotdog made in Scandinavian spirit and fader Christmas who is the REAL one!!!!
Please be on time so you won’t miss out on the fun as Father Christmas will arrive at approx. 5pm. Parents are reminded to bring a small gift for Father Christmas to give to your child.
New children who wants to join this beautiful event is more than welcome to come!!
The Lucia Parade will touch touch everyone with it's beautiful children, white gowns, glitter, song and candles.
Rehearsals for those children participating in the Lucia Parade will be held at the Latvian Community Centre on Sunday 28th November at 4 30 pm. Please contact Margaret & Bjørn Hovland on 9447 3120 for further information.
Come and join young and old for a social BBQ at Nordic House!
This is a fundraising event and we need people to come and make this BBQ an unforgettable one!!!!
Saturday 13th November 2010 5pm at Nordic House Join us all at a pre-Christmas get together at Nordic House.
Price $20 for members and $22 for non members. Please contact Marianne on 92954248 to book in no later than 2 days before the BBQ.
Sunday 24th October 2010 9 am at Nordic House! Come and help out and the biggest Priority will be fixing the ceiling issues particularly in the library.
A lot of the painting has been done, however, there is still plenty more to do in the garden and general maintenance.
A good turnout is needed and would be much appreciated.
If you know how to use a chainsaw or hammer, or feel that you could contribute in other ways, please come to the Busy Bee on Sunday 24th October 2010.
