The objectives of the Scandinavian Association of WA are:

  1. To promote the harmonious interrelationship between Scandinavia and Australia.
  2. To hold such functions as to maintain the traditions of Scandinavia, including the national days.
  3. To maintain a premises for the purpose of providing social and cultural activities for it's members.


The Danish Folkmusic group, FAERD is coming to Perth!

Faerd have been touring New Zealand and Australia and will be playing at the
Fairbridge festival this weekend as one of the International groups.
consist of two Danes and a Swede.

Landskamp

This year´s famous Landskamp competition will take place on Sunday, 15th March at Point
Walter Reserve in Bicton at 10 am. Come and join your fellow country men, women and children in a day of games, fun and competitions to win the annual Cup from last year´s victorious team. The event will include games for children, adults and fit elders!!!
This is an excellent opportunity to meet new "landsmen" and start new friendships.

Barbeques are available, so bring your picnic lunch, your chair, hat and sunscreen and look for the Association banner on the hill behind the kiosk!!
