The objectives of the Scandinavian Association of WA are:
- To promote the harmonious interrelationship between Scandinavia and Australia.
- To hold such functions as to maintain the traditions of Scandinavia, including the national days.
- To maintain a premises for the purpose of providing social and cultural activities for it's members.
We were hoping to have had some volunteer nominations for the job of President and Secretary but so far, no one has come forward. They are not really huge jobs, but, if we don’t try to share the work, the Association risks that people tire and pull out completely and the Club will fold!
There are still vacancies for the Saturday afternoon roster at Nordic House.
If you can help out as host, please put your name on the list in the kitchen or ring one of the committee members to let them know that you can help out.
We look forward to seeing some new faces helping out on Saturday afternoons:)
Because of the Christmas and New Year break, Nordic House will be closed on 24 and 31 December, but otherwise swill be open on Saturdays between 2 and 5pm.
