Norwegian lessons

We hope to be able to offer informal Norwegian classes in the not to distant future. If you know anyone who is interested in learning or teaching Norwegian please contact
Aud Øygarden on aud@wherethebitsroam.com

As we still haven't got anyone to teach maybe Globalskolen.no, Norwegian school online could be an option for children with Norwegian parents or Norwegian background.

Busy Bee and volunteers needed

The number of members turning up for Busy-Bees at Nordic House last time was fantastic.

A lot of the painting has been done however there is still plenty more to be done. Another turnout like last time would be just what we need and would be much appreciated.

If you know how to use a paint brush or feel that you could contribute in other ways to the painting be at the Busy Bee on Sunday 7th March 9 am.

Please contact Henry Jensen on h.jensen@bigpond.com
or Marianne Attfield on 9295 4248 regarding food.

If anyone wish to bring some cake or salad to share you are most welcome.

Landskamp

Your country needs you!!!

It will take place on Sunday 21 March at point Walter Reserve in Bicton at 10 am. Come and join your fellow country men, women and children in a day of games, fun and competitions to win the annual Cup from last year's victorious team. The event will include games for children, adults and fit elders.
On that note the Scandinavian Association would like to remind you that you do attend at your own risk so, if you trip over one of the Viking ships and break a toe nail, you can only blame yourself:)
Note: Risk factors have been encountered to some degree.
